Overview Smruti Joshi

In today’s world digital, mechanical and electronics items are being used tremendously. We are becoming dependent on such products with time, this change is helpful for us but has a lot of downsides and adverse effects on the nature as well as on us. In time this will impact us negatively, which is why through my artworks I try to portray this ever growing world. The ‘Animals’ in my artwork are a metaphorical representation of the growing digital world, while, the ‘Humans’ represent nature. I also aim on using e-waste or scrap material to show that such materials can be put to other use as well.
