Art reminds us of the values we cherish and defend.Art is the mooring point of mankind’s sanity for without it we would have lost direction and perspective long back.

Gallerie Splash (Splash) is an art initiative with almost two decades of experience in the Indian art milieu. Apart from nurturing a marque collection of paintings consisting of modern and contemporary, Splash’s USP is its signature collection of traditional Art which comprises Gond, mural and various other forms. Splash is also actively involved in the promotion of upcoming and evolving artists. Splash ensures this by hosting solo and group exhibitions of their work. Splash also displays their work in other prominent exhibitions in India and abroad. Splash has a system in place to monitor, consult and nurture talent for their growth and ultimately show them the direction to move on to the next dimension in the art world. 

India is an amalgamation of cultures. Every region has its own specific art, music and food. So when it came to pick the top ten Indian artists, it was indeed a tough decision for Jinoy Payyappilly, The curator of Gallerie Splash. “I decided to keep the progressive group out of the equation because they have already achieved stardom of sorts”, He says. The artists were chosen based on a multitude of factors like their work in different styles, mediums and their innovative skills. The rapport that they had managed to build with art lover’s in India and abroad overtime is commendable and this was another factor that went into the decision making. All these artists have 2 to 3 decades of experience in the Indian art ambiance and their work has proven to be excellent investments. 

Here we present our pick for the top 10 Artists from India as of the present day. This is not a chronological order.
