MSU Baroda, Multi dimensional artist, Indian contemporary artist

I hail from such a place in the Indian state of Assam where the fine  art  is considered as a mean job and a less important area of study. When I was a child, I used to play with objects which I would find in my village, such objects that had been discarded as useless articles. With little realisation though, I had begun to develop an interest in the Fine arts since then and learned to practice the same. Today, the similar materials which people reject as purposeless makes up for the most purposeful materials for my work. Actually, in my practice the use of material  is much significant.I think that in the material is already the sprit. If I saw a material what makes me think, then I know there is something in then I have to find it out by practicing,by thinking, by building something. My core intrest is to build the place of my memory, because my memory is my only homeland.
