Sahej Rahal, born in 1988, is a visionary artist whose creative journey has left an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene.

Sahej Rahal's solo exhibitions showcase his artistic prowess and thought-provoking concepts. Notable shows include "Juggernaut" at Chatterjee & Lal, Mumbai, IN (2019), "The Dekkan Trap" at MAC, Birmingham, UK (2018), "Barricadia" at CCA, Glasgow, UK (2017), and "Forerunner" at Chatterjee & Lal, Mumbai, IN (2013), among others. His artistic journey began with "Hardboiled Wonderland," a solo exhibition at Kunst (Zeug) Haus, Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland (2011).

Sahej Rahal's work has been featured in numerous prestigious group exhibitions across the globe. These include "Technoshamanism" in Dortmund, Germany (2021), "Radical Gaming – Immersion Simulation Subversion" in Basel, Switzerland (2021), and "Whorled Explorations" at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Kochi, IN (2014), among many others.

 Rahal's contributions to the art world have garnered him several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the "Human Machine Fellowship" from Junge Akademie, ADK, Berlin, Germany (2020), the "Digital Earth Fellowship" (2020), and the "Henry Moore Cove Park Fellowship" in the UK (2017). His commitment to artistic innovation has also been recognized through the "India Foundation for the Arts, Critical Arts Practice Grant" (2014) and the "INLAKS Fine Art Award" (2012), among others.

In addition to his visual art, Sahej Rahal's creative vision extends to film. His video installations have been screened at esteemed venues such as the "Artists Fair Kyoto" in Japan (2019) and the "Experimental Response Cinema" in Austin, Texas (2016), showcasing his ability to transcend traditional artistic boundaries.
