Gopa Trivedi’s artistic practice intricately weaves together her lived experiences and intangible encounters—such as conversations, daily interactions, and travels—into a rich tapestry of meaning. By drawing parallels across these diverse aspects of her life, she creates a porosity between personal and collective experiences, challenging the boundaries between what is considered individualistic and what is culturally shared. This interplay is reflected in her work, where collective knowledge systems—encompassing histories, stories, myths, and fables—blur the distinctions between “Us” and “Them.”

Trivedi's visual vocabulary often references nature, domestic spaces, and everyday objects, capturing the transient essence of existence.
