Harman Taneja

Statement

Harman Taneja is an artist whose sculptural practice reflects on the shifting idea of home, its structure, memory, and dislocation. Working primarily with resin, her sculptures echo domestic objects and architectural fragments, often embedding materials found on construction sites such as terrazzo, brick, and concrete. These remnants of transition are suspended within symbols of movement, shelter, and identity. Her work emerges from lived experience marked by loss, frequent relocations, and the impermanence of domestic spaces.

Taneja completed her Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University School of Architecture and Planning, Indraprastha University, New Delhi. She has participated in residencies including Niv Art Gallery, New Delhi (2019); Far Side Collective (2021); Space Studio, Vadodara (2022); and Art for Change India (2023).
