Statement
Yash Vyas is a visual artist from Saurashtra, Gujarat, currently based in Vadodara. His practice navigates memory, space, and cultural residue through processes of construction and deconstruction. Rooted in personal geographies, Yash often revisits his hometown, documenting overlooked and abandoned places that inform his sculptural and lens-based works.
He holds a BVA and MVA in Sculpture from M.S. University, Baroda, and was awarded the Mrinalini Mukherjee Artist Grant (2021). His work has been exhibited across India, including at Khoj Studios, Bikaner House, and The Lexicon Art Gallery, and he has collaborated with Conflictorium Museum and Stroom Den Haag.
