Born in 1974 in Bhubaneshwar. Much of Pranati’s oeuvre is driven by self-analysis. The artist through her compositions posits the rhythm of nature and the delicate beauty it beholds, even where there is strife. As a means of exploring and celebrating life, whilst drawing attention to its majesty and intricacy, all at once, these works inspire the view to submit to the grand design we are all a part of.

Intertwined with abstractions and anecdots, self-analysis drives Pranati’s practice. Placing herself at the centre of her own experiments, her practice of meditation like her distinctive thread work, finds meaning in the labour of process.
